Cement-Based Machine Plaster – MS 40 kg: Surface Preparation

  • The substrate must be clean, dry, dust-free, structurally sound, and free from frost, efflorescence (salt/lime deposits), or loose particles.
  • Repair any cracks, voids, or damaged areas prior to application.
  • In extremely hot weather, pre-cool dry, highly absorbent surfaces to prevent rapid drying.
  • Prepare raw concrete, aerated concrete, or other porous surfaces with a pre-spray or suitable primer to enhance adhesion.
  • Ensure pre-spray or primer fully covers the substrate and is completely dry before plastering.
  • Direct application is permissible on brick walls.

  • Ideal for interior surfaces in all building types, including wet areas (e.g., bathrooms, kitchens).
  • Compatible with brick, aerated concrete, standard concrete, exposed concrete, pumice block walls, and ceilings.
  • Serves as an undercoat for leveling, satin-finish plasters, mineral/organic coatings, and tile adhesives.
  • Suitable for exterior facades when overlaid with a protective topcoat.

How to Apply Cement-Based Machine Plaster – MS 40 kg

Aktiwex Machine Plasters are applied using specialized plastering machines. Ensure uniform distribution across the surface during machine application. After application, smoothen the surface with a trowel. Once hardened, sand down irregularities using appropriate hand tools. Lightly moisten the plastered surface and refine it with a damp sponge for a smooth finish.
