What Are the Features and Advantages of Granit Adhesive Mortar – C2T 25 kg?
- It possesses high adhesive strength.
- It does not slip on vertical surfaces.
- It is easily notched.
Where Is Granit Adhesive Mortar – C2T 25 kg Used?
- In interior and exterior applications for bonding cladding materials such as granite, large-format ceramics, porcelain, kotto, and clinker on horizontal and vertical surfaces like concrete, plaster, and screed;
- For ceramic applications on existing ceramic or marble surfaces;
- In areas with heavy pedestrian and load traffic, such as shopping and business centers, hospitals, and schools.
How Is Granit Adhesive Mortar – C2T 25 kg Used?
The material should be mixed with electric mixers for 3–4 minutes, then allowed to rest for 5 minutes before being remixed prior to application. The prepared mortar must be used within 4 hours. To achieve an optimal bonding surface, after spreading the smooth portion of the mortar onto the substrate, the notched side—selected according to the tile dimensions—should be combed. For installations involving cladding materials of 40 x 40 cm or larger, or in areas with heavy pedestrian and load traffic, a combined bonding method is recommended. Tiles should be firmly pressed into the combed mortar within 30 minutes. Under unfavorable environmental conditions, such as high temperature, low humidity, or wind, this period may be reduced. Do not apply tiles on mortar that has exceeded its open time; any remaining mortar should be removed from the surface.
