The application surfaces should be cleaned of dust, dirt, and oil that reduce adhesion and completely stripped of any old, blistered paint layers, ensuring the surface is dry, solid, and clean. For mineral surfaces, the surface should be cured for at least 28 days before application. If necessary, cracks in the surface should be filled with putty and imperfections should be repaired. If a smooth final appearance is desired, the entire surface should be smoothed with putty. Old solvent-based or water-based painted surfaces that will undergo a color change, as well as very dirty old painted surfaces or new porous surfaces, should be primed with satin plaster primer. Before application, 805 should be thoroughly mixed. 805 should be diluted with clean water at a ratio of 30% by volume and applied in two coats using a brush, roller, or spray system. At least 2 hours should be waited between coats. Application tools should be washed with water immediately after use. During application and for the following 24 hours, the temperature of the environment and the surface to be applied should be at least +5°C.
