- Used as a primer on all types of porous, highly absorbent surfaces such as concrete, plaster, gypsum, gypsum board, putty, and on old water-based painted surfaces.
How is Water-Based, Silicone, Interior and Exterior Primer 3.5 kg and 20 kg used?
Application surfaces must be free from dust, dirt, and oil that reduce adhesion, and thoroughly cleaned of old, flaking paint layers. The surface must be dry, solid, and clean. On new mineral surfaces, wait at least 28 days for curing before application. All waterproofing measures of the building must be completed. Old synthetic-based surfaces must be thoroughly sanded and cleaned of sanding dust. Old surfaces should be washed with a water and soda solution, then rinsed and allowed to dry. 803 should be diluted with clean water up to a maximum of 10% by volume and applied in a single coat using a brush, roller, or spray system. During application and for the following 24 hours, the ambient and surface temperature must be at least +5°C, and the surface must be protected from precipitation. Do not apply in very hot weather, under direct sunlight, strong wind, fog, high humidity, or when rain is expected. Overheated surfaces should be moistened before application. The material should not be used on horizontal surfaces exposed to rain.
