How to Use Rapid-Setting Non-Shrink Flowable Grout Mortar – GH 25 kg

**Surface Quality:** Surfaces must be clean, smooth, sturdy, and free of dust, oil, grease, rust, mold release agents, detergents, or other adhesion-inhibiting substances. Cracks or voids in floors or walls must be repaired using suitable Aktiwex repair mortars. Wait 3-4 days before applying Aktiwex 406-GH.
Surface Preparation: Remove cement laitance and weakened parts. Ensure surfaces are free of oil, dirt, or rust. Pre-moisten highly absorbent surfaces, but avoid standing water or droplets.

Mixing Process:

  • Add 3-4 liters of clean, room-temperature water to a clean container.
  • Gradually pour the 25 kg bag of Aktiwex 406-GH powder into the water.
  • Mix with a low-speed mixer until homogeneous and lump-free (minimum 1 minute).
  • Immediately place the mixed grout. Do not add water or remix after the material reacts.
  • The prepared mixture must be placed within 2.5 minutes, depending on ambient temperature and water content.
  • For enclosed voids, pour Aktiwex 406-GH from one side to expel air and prevent voids. Use a long rod to guide the flow if needed.
  • Pouring Thickness: Apply in single layers of 10-40mm. For small-diameter cylindrical anchors, conduct a preliminary test.

Aggregate Addition (for applications >60mm):
Add 5-12mm diameter aggregate at a 70:30 ratio (material to aggregate) using either method:

  • Mix aggregate directly into the grout until homogeneous.
  • Spread aggregate on the substrate, then pour Aktiwex 406-GH over it. The self-leveling grout will encapsulate the aggregate, forming high-strength concrete.
